Isaiah 63:5-7

New American Standard Bible

⁵ I looked, but there was ^(A)no one to help,
And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold;
So My ^(B)own arm brought salvation to Me,
And My wrath upheld Me.
⁶ I ^(C)trampled down the peoples in My anger
And made them ^(D)drunk with My wrath,
And I ^[a]poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”

⁷ I will make mention of the ^(E)mercies of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord,
According to all that the Lord has granted us,
And the great ^(F)goodness toward the house of Israel,
Which He has granted them according to His ^(G)compassion
And according to the abundance of His mercies.
